Proud Mum's boasting time

hi friends,

I got a lovely surprise the other day.

On Saturday, Jump4Joy (Church outreach to People with disabilities) went to visit the college where my son and other members of the group attend. We went into the gallery and found two items which my Greg has made on sale in there. I was speechless, just staring at the first one I saw and then Greg dragged me round to show me the other one and I was even more gobsmacked they are BOTH gorgeous!

Then I got a bigger shock when I saw the price on them. they are both being sold for £50 each!!!

heres a picture of Greg and the two items he made. Thinking a bit of creativity has rubbed off on him after all.

In loving memory of Aunty Josefina Merruarutia

well I have been so busy lately and life has been so stressful I havent had a chance to update recently.

Aunty Jo passed away on 28th April. In the end it was a peaceful departing surrounded by family who were all sharing good memories, the best way to go for her. As she was a single lady with no children we have been given the job of sorting out her estate, so the next few weeks are going to continue to be difficult with dealing with probate and distributing things and inheritance among the remaining family. Prayers would be gratefully appreciated.

Her funeral was lovely! a time of happy remembrance and family reminiscence. The funeral directors handled everything so sensitively and the priest did her proud with a very suitable requiem Mass. It was a celebration of her life and she would have been so pleased to know that.

Through all of this we have been very conscious of our God's sustaining power and guidance, He has been faithful as He promised and kept us united and at peace despite the sadness of departure.
